Nick & Sarah’s Wedding will always have a big special place in my heart. When I started this business it was very important to me that I became more than a photographer to my brides, but that I became their friends. Well that happened almost instantly with Sarah. Enough about that though, lets move on to their day.
Now Nick & Sarah were married before their “Big Day” but as is common with a lot of military couples, their vision of a big wedding was put on hold. They were married, and Sarah started making plans for a big wedding to renew their vows!
The day was beautiful. My dear friend Sydney came along to second shoot for me. Sarah’s bridesmaids helped her get ready, and put on her final touches. Nick was stowed away in one of the other rooms while we snuck Sarah to the silo for some individual photos. Then it was time for their first look. I loved the anticipation and excitement that I saw on both Sarah’s face and Nick’s! You could see the love on their faces.
As Sarah & Nick’s families started to arrive, we hid Sarah away again so that she could do a first look with her dad. Neither Sydney nor I had a dry eye, that’s for sure.
Once everyone arrived, and bridal photos were done, it was time for the ceremony. Their ceremony was officiated by a friend of theirs. The ceremony was short, sweet, and filled with so much love and promise.
After the ceremony and dinner, Nick serenaded Sarah around the dance floor for their first dance to a country classic (in my mind) of “Crazy Girl.” It was beautiful.
Once the party got started, there was no stopping Nick!!!! What a great party!!!
Sarah & Nick – thank you both so much from the bottom of my heart for including me in such an important and beautiful day in your two’s lives. I cannot wait to see where life takes you two!
